Playhouse Platform is Nottingham Playhouse’s theatre arts company for adults with learning difficulties and disabilities, who meet weekly to develop their drama and facilitation skills. The group is for up to 15 adults with learning disabilities or who are on the Autistic Spectrum to learn more about making theatre and performing. Company members can learn to be drama facilitators as well as practising their own performance skills.
The company meets on Wednesday afternoons during term time to explore a range of theatre skills, including creating one show each year to be performed alongside other Nottingham Playhouse youth and community drama groups.
Please see details below. Should you not be able to commit to a full ten week term, please contact the Box Office to discuss options. We are keen to find ways where possible to offer spaces even for shorter periods of time. This cannot be guaranteed but please do call for an informal conversation.
